Apply now for MAC Outstanding Faculty Award

Each year, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success recognizes one full-time faculty member from each MAC institution who has shown dedication to student success.

The MAC also honors one award recipient from amongst the institutional award recipients as the overall winner of the Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success.

All full-time faculty who are engaged with undergraduate or graduate students and who demonstrate a commitment to student success and inclusion are eligible. Applicants should also demonstrate an appreciation for the MAC Core Values, including academic achievement, commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity, fiscal responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and student-athlete well-being.

Applications require a 500-word statement addressing the criteria, a brief vita (up to three pages), three letters of support (including one from the applicant’s chair/director and one from a student), a 250-word bio and a professional headshot. Complete applications are due to facultyaffairs@ohio.edu by Dec. 9, 2026.
