OHIO Chillicothe’s Bobcat Nursing Camp lets area high school students explore nursing careers

A group of high school students from Fairfield, Franklin, Jackson, Pickaway, Pike, Ross and Vinton counties gathered at Ohio University Chillicothe on Friday, June 26, for the Bobcat Nursing Camp.

The Gates Foundation-Ross County Scholar’s Fund has announced the 2026 class of recipients, with scholarships being awarded to 18 continuing and incoming college students from the area.

Amanda Bowdle returns to OHIO Chillicothe after paper mill closure

Amanda Bowdle spent seven years mastering machines at Pixelle Specialty Solutions. Then the mill closed, and everything stopped. Now she is pursuing a computer technology degree at OHIO Chillicothe.
