OHIO student magazine wins first place in national AEJMC design competition

Ohio University’s student-produced VIS Magazine earned first place in the design category of the 2026 Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Student Magazine Contest for its third issue, “The Heroes Issue.” The issue celebrates the lasting impact of visual communication leaders whose work, mentorship and achievements have inspired generations of storytellers, including Pete Souza and John Grimwade.
