Katie Snyder guides Ohio University students to success through College2Careers

Katie Snyder loves helping students with disabilities overcome barriers to employment as a vocational rehabilitation counselor serving students at Ohio University Chillicothe, Ohio University Southern and Shawnee State University. Through Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities’ (OOD) Ohio College2Careers program, Snyder helps students access tools and resources.

Design Your Future

When Leanne Ford couldn't find a major that fit at Ohio University, she designed her own degree. With the flexibility of the specialized studies major, she was able to put together courses in art, graphic design, public relations, advertising and retail for a focus that she called "integrated retail communications." A self-taught interior designer, Ford is an HGTV star whose signature aesthetic trends across Instagram.
