Blackboard Ultra offers Microsoft Teams integration, OIT invites instructors to preview group

Blackboard Ultra Courses and Microsoft Teams for Classrooms can now integrate. The integration inside of Blackboard Ultra Courses allows an instructor to create a Class Team from within that Blackboard Ultra course. 

The Team name will match the Blackboard course name, so if instructors have multiple courses with the same name, they may want to consider editing that name to include section numbers.

The Blackboard roster will automatically populate the users list in the Team, and the Team will be automatically updated as add/drops process in Blackboard. Once the Team is created, a link will appear within the Blackboard Ultra course that will allow instructors and students to launch their Team directly from that Blackboard Ultra Course.
