Cybersecurity Awareness Month concludes: How to prioritize cybersecurity in a hybrid environment

At the onset of the pandemic’s work-from-home requirements and shifts to online schooling, many people have scrambled to figure out how to make this adjustment work for them, their schedules, and families.

In our personal lives, we have had to reschedule weddings, cancel vacations and alter our day-to-day activities. Additionally, everyone has had to swiftly embrace technology to continue seeing family, friends, and colleagues. But too often, we are hesitant to think about the security ramifications of embracing this technology at such a rapid pace.

As many OHIO employees still connect from home and the online academic presence is expanding, it is important to prioritize cybersecurity in personal and professional lives. For the final week of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, join OIT in exploring guidance on how to put cybersecurity first in a hybrid work and learning environment.
