Professional Development Pathways undergoing several exciting changes for the OHIO community
Ohio University’s Professional Development Pathways (PDP) Program is making several exciting changes intended to benefit the OHIO community over the next few months, including:
PDP is being redesigned to take advantage of new features within Blackboard Ultra.
The highlights of the redesign include:
- All Pathways will now be contained in one area within Blackboard
- New Progress Tracking Tool allows for real-time completion tracking across all Pathways
- Simplified user interface--trainings will now be easier to find
- Immediate access to all eLearning modules
- No registration required
More information on new features will be announced as they are added.
Ohio University is transitioning to Skillsoft’s updated e-learning platform, Percipio.
This transition includes enhanced search features, more learning materials, and improved progress tracking capabilities.
More details about the timing of this transition will be announced soon.
Existing Pathways will be redesigned so that they can be completed more efficiently.
As a result of this transition:
- The Accounting and Purchasing Pathways will be combined into a single Finance Operations Pathway with all trainings available
- Other Pathways may be consolidated, redesigned, or discontinued over the next 18-24 months so that learning is more focused, active, and interactive
- More details about these Pathway changes will be communicated as changes are made
