Ohio Supercomputer Center has free upcoming virtual training events for OHIO faculty, staff
The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) is a state organization dedicated to empowering Ohio’s educational and research institutions. OSC provides accessible, reliable, and subsidized training on supercomputing, cyberinfrastructure, research, consulting, educational resources, and research partnerships.
OHIO researchers, faculty, and staff can utilize these programs to improve their research strategies and bolster resources. These trainings are free to OHIO faculty and staff.
Here are a few notable virtual trainings available in the coming weeks:
Batch System at OSC: Feb. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. Learn how to submit, run, and manage jobs on the clusters using Slurm batch scripts and interactive batch sessions.
Introduction to Simple Linear Regression with R: March 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will learn how to fit SLR (Simple Linear Regression) models to data for quantifying the relationship between a response and predictor variable.
Intro to Supercomputing at OSC: March 15, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Learn about OSC services. This is an opportunity to ask any questions about performing computational research on their systems.

Multiple Linear Regression with R: March 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will learn how to fit MLR (Multiple Linear Regression) models to data for quantifying the relationship between a response variable and a set of predictor variables.
Logistic Regression with R: March 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will learn how to fit logistic regression models to data for quantifying the relationship between a categorical response variable and a set of predictor variables.
