Updates coming to Blackboard in May 2023

Instructors who use third-party tools in Blackboard may need to rebuild some course content, as vendors continue to upgrade their technology. This is the next phase of the Blackboard integration updates that began in May 2022 and are expected to continue between semesters through December 2023.

While Ohio University is currently in the process of selecting a new Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard will continue to be updated.

Instructors are encouraged to join the Teaching and Learning Technologies Advisory Community to stay informed about Blackboard updates and the LMS evaluation process. Additionally, instructional technologists are available to help with selecting new tools as needed.

Skillsoft

Skillsoft is scheduled to be retired on May 11, at 6 p.m. 

Shadow Health

Shadow Health is set to be updated on May 11, between 9 and 10 a.m. Instructors who are utilizing this integration will need to generate new links using the updated integration.
