OHIO Zanesville's CARE Team announces free youth mental health first aid training

The CARE Team at Ohio University Zanesville is offering two sessions of a Youth Mental Health First Aid course, aimed at empowering educators to support the mental health and wellbeing of their students. This critical training is offered at no cost and is essential for anyone working with young people.

These blended courses include approximately 1.5 hours of pre-work, which participants are required to complete before the course date. Links to access the pre-work will be sent out two weeks prior to each session. The training provides invaluable skills and knowledge to help educators recognize, understand and aid students experiencing mental health challenges.

Join the team on Aug. 2 or 7, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Ohio University Zanesville. The sessions will be held in Elson Hall, Room W110 for both course opportunities. Registrants only need to select one session to attend.  The cost for this course if free and limited to the first 30 registrants.
