Global Consulting Program now accepting applications for Summer 2025 programs

Ohio University’s Global Consulting Program (GCP) is now accepting applications for its Summer 2025 programs.

The GCP provides OHIO students from all majors with opportunities to learn about the global business environment by working as part of a cross-cultural consulting team to solve authentic business problems abroad.

Students work on projects at OHIO and then travel to international locations during the summer months for internships and additional opportunities.

Open to all OHIO undergraduate students, the GCP is part of the Center for International Business Education and Development (CIBED) in the College of Business.

The deadline to apply for the Summer 2025 programs is Sept. 20, 2024

The 2025 internship locations will include:

  • Australia (Sports and Sales focus)
  • Belgium (Sales focus)
  • France (General focus)
  • Germany (General and Sports focus)
  • Greece (General focus)
  • Hungary (Entrepreneurship focus)
  • Italy (General focus)
  • Japan (General focus)
  • Netherlands (Leadership focus)
  • Portugal (General focus)
  • South Africa (Honors and General focus)

OHIO students can all apply for the Summer 2025 programs here.

All GCP internships are two weeks in duration and are led by experienced OHIO faculty members. Scholarships are available.

The Global Consulting Program offers:

  • College of Business internship credit
  • Cultural Perspectives credit (BRICKS requirement)
  • Experiential Learning credit (BRICKS requirement)
  • Credit towards International Business Certificate
  • Nine total credits
