Ohio University’s History Department will host the annual Lazaroff Memorial Lecture in Jewish History on Wednesday, March 5, in the Baker University Center Theater.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. In addition, a pre-event reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Baker University Center Lounge.
This year’s lecture, "Toward a Definition of Medieval Antisemitism," will be presented by Dr. Maya Soifer Irish, who is an associate professor of history at Rice University in Houston.
All students, faculty, staff and area residents are invited to attend.
