
MSA Students Successfully Compete in NSF Case Cup

The College of Business is thrilled to announce that Justin Laatz, Makenna Hale, Declan Kohlsaat and Easton Powers, with Kendall Kraft as the alternate, represented the Ohio University Masters of Sport Administration program at the National Sports Forum (NSF) Case Cup competition in Boston from February 21-25.
"Their hard work, dedication and passion for sports administration have earned these students an incredible opportunity," MSA Program Director and faculty advisor Gary Bernstein said. "They all showcased the excellence and spirit of Ohio University at the competition".
The NSF Case Cup Competition is an annual event held at the National Sports Forum. It is a master case-style competition designed for students in sports administration and related programs.

- Multidisciplinary case study: Students compete in a 24-hour case study that challenges them to apply their academic knowledge to real-world scenarios in the sports industry.
- Networking opportunities: Participants have the chance to network with top sports business professionals at the National Sports Forum; it is the largest annual gathering of team sports marketing, sales, promotions and event entertainment executives in North America.
- Real-World Experience: The competition simulates a fast-paced, real-world environment to help students prepare for their future careers in sports administration.
