Kids on Campus to host annual Tech Savvy event for children, parents on May 10

The College of Health Sciences and Professions’ Kids on Campus is pleased to announce that registration is now open for their annual Tech Savvy event.

“Tech Savvy is an exciting and empowering opportunity for students from around our region to experience a day of hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) engagement led by world-renowned women leaders and researchers in STEM fields at Ohio University,” said Daniel Rogers, program manager for Kids on Campus. “Last year’s event was a resounding success, and we’re committed to building on that momentum by making this year’s Tech Savvy experience better than ever! We’re grateful to the Paula Tolliver Appalachian OHIO STEM Fund who has helped make the Tech Savvy program possible.”

This one-day event offers participants the chance to engage in dynamic workshops, connect with peers, and draw inspiration from working professionals who are shaping the future of their fields. Tech Savvy also includes a full day of workshops for parents, aimed at enhancing their child’s education and future path. Parents will gain valuable insights on how to support their child’s interest in STEM, foster curiosity, build academic confidence, and navigate educational opportunities.
