The Muskingum 250 Committee, in partnership with Ohio University Zanesville and the Muskingum County Library System, invites the community to a free, special screening of "The Patriot," on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Elson Hall Auditorium.

Starring Mel Gibson, "The Patriot" follows Benjamin Martin, a reluctant hero drawn into the fight for American independence as war arrives on his doorstep. Packed with thrilling battle scenes, emotional depth and powerful storytelling, this acclaimed historical drama brings the Revolution to life.
