Ohio University Lancaster senior nursing students to host community health fair

The senior nursing class at Ohio University Lancaster is proud to announce a Community Health Fair to be held on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ohio University Lancaster Campus Gym, located at 1570 Granville Pike, Lancaster, OH 43130.
This free, public event welcomes individuals of all ages to explore a variety of educational booths focused on health and wellness. Topics will include nutrition, physical activity, mental health awareness, chronic disease prevention and more. Attendees can discover valuable tools and resources to support healthier lifestyles.
The fair will showcase interactive exhibits developed and presented by Ohio University’s senior nursing students as part of their community health initiative. In addition, local health agencies and organizations are invited to participate, offering expert insights, services, and resources that benefit the broader Lancaster and Fairfield County communities.
“We are looking forward to starting this Community Health Fair as an annual event for our senior nursing students to share health and wellness with the community,” said Professor Michelle Maskulinski. “We hope our partners in Lancaster and Fairfield County choose to join us in this important event aimed at promoting wellness and strengthening community partnerships. We’re eager to take meaningful strides toward improving the health of the citizens of Lancaster and Fairfield County through education, outreach, and collaboration.”
