Paint the Town Green 2025: Show your OHIO spirit

The Ohio University Alumni Association invites all members of the OHIO community to join the celebration and help light up Athens with Bobcat pride during Homecoming 2025.

This year’s Paint the Town Green competition is open to residence halls, OHIO departments and offices, and uptown businesses—all coming together to showcase their OHIO spirit through creative and spirited decorations. 

From decorating office windows to transforming residence hall lounges or storefront displays, this is your chance to celebrate Homecoming, show your creativity, and share your love for OHIO. 

Competition categories

Participants will compete for first, second and third place in each of the following groups: 

• Residence Halls
• Departments and Offices
• Uptown Businesses 

How to participate

To enter, please complete this form by Monday, Oct. 6. 

Judging will take place in person on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Winners will be notified by email on Wednesday, Oct. 15 and featured in an OHIO Today news article and on OHIO Alumni social media. 

All participants are encouraged to post photos of their decorated spaces on social media using #OHIOHC2025 to spread the Bobcat spirit far and wide.
