High school students invited to explore nursing careers at OHIO Chillicothe’s Bobcat Nursing Camp

Ohio University Chillicothe invites area high school juniors, seniors, and recent grads to learn about the nursing profession at the Bobcat Nursing Camp on Friday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This engaging one-day camp will offer a unique and interactive career exploration experience.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities designed to teach and practice specific nursing skills, tour nursing simulation labs and the campus, meet nursing faculty, and gain experience that will enhance their resumes and scholarship applications. The camp aims to inspire students by providing them with a real-world glimpse into the medical field. There is no cost to participate in the Bobcat Nursing Camp, and lunch will be provided.

Interim Associate Director Lindsey Shotts and the OHIO Chillicothe nursing faculty invite students to campus for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration.

“We are excited to invite aspiring nurses to join us on campus in our nursing labs for our annual Bobcat Nursing Camp,” said Shotts. “This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of healthcare, gain hands-on experience, and discover the passion that drives the nursing profession. Come see what makes nursing such a meaningful and rewarding career!”

Students can register online to attend the Bobcat Nursing Camp.
