Division of Research and Creative Activity to hold retreat in July

As part of its continuous efforts to improve its unit in order to best serve Ohio University, the Division of Research and Creative Activity will be on retreat beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, through Thursday, July 16, 2026.

The office will remain open for normal business through 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. From that time through the end of the workday on July 16, the division will not be available to conduct normal business. This includes responses to emails, proposal submissions, IRB reviews, and IACUC reviews. Any items submitted during this time will be addressed as soon as possible upon their return. The Division of Research and Creative Activity appreciates the patience of students, faculty and staff with any delay.

All proposals with a sponsor deadline of July 15 through July 17 should be prepared and submission ready by July 14. The Division of Research and Creative Activity has identified what is in the queue and is already working with those individual investigators. However, the team members are only aware of what is in the queue.

Please note that all animal care operations will continue as normal, without any disruption.
